Try Journaling
It's like raking the dead leaves out of your brain.

When you rake the yard in the fall, you bag up the dead leaves and let the grass get ready for winter. Often, I would find things I thought were missing--a child's toy, or a gardening tool.
Journaling is like raking out "stuff." Sometimes when you see the words piled up on the page, it's hard to believe where the heck they came from! Keep going, though, the clarity comes from the constant emptying of "stuff" onto the page.
